BALLARD GAINS TOP TEN FINISH AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY
Sicklerville, NJ (August 19, 2014) – Brett Ballard, one of three young drivers that comprise B&M Motorsports, gained a top ten finish at Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, August 16. Ballard entered his 2014 Teo Pro Car in the 811 Dig Safely Crate/Sportsman class and qualified for the 20-lap feature by taking the checkered flag in the consolation contest. Starting in nineteenth place, Ballard quickly began to advance forward. At the halfway point, he was up to ninth place. When the checkered flag waved, Ballard crossed the finish line in tenth place. “I made some little leaps today but I still have things to work on,” said the Pennsville, NJ based driver regarding the handling of his car.
Prior to Saturday’s racing, Ballard and his 5B team were in action for two distinct practice sessions. On Wednesday, August 13, the team turned some laps on the outer oval. Two days later, the team was back at Bridgeport Speedway and was testing their car on the quarter mile track for Modified Mayhem which takes place on Friday, August 22. The John Latwinas Farmers Insurance Agency of Sicklerville, NJ, Larkin Auto Service, CB Productions, CTS Lawn Care, and Delran Auto Body are Ballard’s current marketing partners.
Brad Roberts, another member of the B&M Motorsports team, joined Ballard and tested his Bicknell car on Wednesday, August 13. Roberts is planning to be back at Bridgeport Speedway for the running of Modified Mayhem. Array of Monograms, Ronnie’s Auto Repair, and Roberts Motors are his current marketing partners. CRG Truck Repair in Plainfield, NJ will be an additional marketing partner for Roberts at Modified Mayhem.
Matt Budd, the third member of the B&M Motorsports team, was not in action this past Saturday but he did display his 4M Teo Pro Car at a March of Dimes Car Show in National Park, NJ. Budd’s next event will be the Modified Mayhem event. His marketing partners in 2014 include Racersguide.com, Vahlco Racing Wheels, and Rick Sweeten Images.
B&M Motorsports is a dirt racing team of three drivers, Brett Ballard, Matt Budd, and Brad Roberts.
