“THE COBRA” CHUCK HEBING ENTERS THE NINTH RUNNING OF THE 360 SPRINTS RISLONE NATIONALS SET FOR FRIDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 22 AT WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY

At age fifty, Ontario, NY driver Chuck “The Cobra’ Hebing will make his first start at the historic Williams Grove Speedway in the ninth running of the Rislone Nationals on Friday night, August 22.   Hebing has a solid resume with some thirty-seven sprint car victories.  He has accomplished a lot, but there has been  a career void, a start at the Grove.   The big half mile  Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA is one track every sprint car driver wants to win at.   In the New York circles of sprint car racing, Hebing is, if not the best, one of the best and a threat whenever the green flag falls.   On Friday night, August 22, he’ll be coming into the unknown territory of Central Pennsylvania’s  very best in sprint car racing.

The Rislone Nationals is a 360/358 sprint car event that because of the $4,000 first place prize in the twenty-five lap feature, will lure some of best sprint car drivers.   The roster will also include Greg Hodnett, Mark Smith,  Aaron Ott, Brock Zearfoss,  Pat Cannon, URC’s current point leader Davie Franek, Robbie Stillwaggon, Josh Weller, Randy West, Andy Best and Ed Aiki,  Troy Betts, just to name a few.

The Friday night, August 22 Rislone Nations will offer a  lucrative payoff with  $4,000 going to the winner of the 25 lap main event plus $1,000 for a tenth place finish and a hefty $325 just to take the green.

Previous winners of the Rislone Nationals include 2013 event winner and four time URC feature winner this season, Mark Smith of Sunbury, PA.   In 2012, Tony Stewart was the winner with Lance Dewease taking the victory in 2011.   Daryn Pittman (2010), Aaron Ott (2009), Kenny Adams (2008), Ed Aikin (2007) and Pat Cannon won the first Rislone Nationals in 2006.

For rules as well as the complete payoff, please go to www.urcsprints.com and go to the Competitors Page.   On the Competitors Page you’ll find the event details for all the URC races including the Rislone Nationals.
