Bechtelsville, PA – G & H Motorsports was scheduled to be part of the “Low Down and Dirty” Meet and Greet at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, this meant the team should have left a little early to get to the track. After putting the car on the scales it was found that we were a little off of where we needed to be, so adjustments were made to get it right. The team was able to make the adjustments and be on the road just a couple minutes later then what was planned.
Dan and the crew got the car unloaded and took it to the front of the Main Grandstands without being late. The team had a great time meeting all the fans that stopped by and two lucky fans were able to walk off with a gift bag, one was for a free Oil and Filter Change at Scott Select Pre-Owned of West Chester, PA and the other was a t-shirt and a $25.00 gift card to SquireSide CAFE of New Holland, PA.
After the good time at the Meet and Greet it was back to business of getting ready for the night of racing. Dan took the #46 out for warm-ups to make sure it was where it needed to be and was satisfied with the way it handled.
Heat Race #2 in 5th was where Dan took the green, when the event went non stop for the scheduled 8 laps he was able to pass the #31 Dave Ogin and the #ZT1 John Geisler to finish 3rd at the checkered.
The G & H Motorsports crew of Scott Green, Cathy Green, Debbie Dutter, Liz Kulp, Todd Lapp, Bob Higginbotham, Greg Hoffmaster and Brett Higginbotham got the #46 ready for the feature event.
25 Laps is the scheduled distance for the NASCAR BRC Late Model Feature, Dan started 6th. As the green flag waved Dan was able to get to the inside and went three wide coming out of turn 2 with Wayne Pfiel #72 in the middle and #ZT1 John Geisler on the outside, as Dan made it to turn three the caution came out for Geisler who stopped along the backstretch. As the race restarted Dan was able to run between 5th and 7th until lap 20 when Dan had a good run on Lou Egrie Sr. #x4, but Egrie slowed more then what Dan anticipated and he had the lock the breaks up and spun out in turn 4. With only 5 laps left in the race Dan restarted in 10th and with a car that wasn't handling right he finished in that spot to continue the good year. Dan still sits 6th in points with only 5 races left, so if you are planning on seeing Dan race mark your calendar now.

Getting a black background? I can not seem to be able to change that. Sorry but it must be the format on which the press release is composed in.
