Bridgeport Weekend Press Release‏

IT'S MODIFIED MAYHEM AT THE BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

The Modified Stock Cars return to the Bridgeport quarter mile track on Friday night for Modified Mayhem!

The Modifieds have not raced on the Bridgeport quarter mile since 2011 as the mighty modifieds return to the track within a track for twenty-five laps of fast paced racing action on Friday night.

The Modifieds join the 600cc ad 270cc Micro Sprints and 4 Cylinder Enduro cars for a full night of racing that gets underway at 8pm.  There will be Bike Giveaways for some lucky winners!!

The racing action switches to the 5/8 mile speedway for Saturday night as Eastern Autoparts Warehouse sponsors First Responders' Night the Bridgeport Speedway.  In addition to the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modifieds, 811 Dig Safely Crate/Sportsman and Stewart Stainless Outlaw Stocks, there will also be Power Puff races for the ladies!

First Responders will be admitted to the Saturday night races for free with a valid ID and will be invited to participate in a parade lap during the night's events.

Also, residents of Deptford/Blackwood/Turnersville, NJ are invited to be guests of the speedway management on Saturday night!

Fans will be greeted upon arrival to the track on Saturday by Modified driver, Rocco Infante, Crate/Sportsman competitor, Scott Hulmes and Outlaw Stock contender, Jimmy Hughes.  The drivers will have their cars on display at the entrance to the grandstand where fans can collect autographs and take pictures before the drivers head to the pits for the start of the night's racing events.

Bridgeport Speedway fans are treated to t-shirt and hot dog launches every week as well as several promos throughout the night for Cicconte's Pizza and the Village Pub.  There's a Moon Bounce for the kids and the Bandit Bus is available for pit tours before and during the night of racing.  Always a favorite with the fans, the Crate/Sportsman main event will line-up behind the grandstand this week, allowing fans to get a closer look at the field of competitors.
