BROKEN SUSPENSION CURTAILS BALLARD’S OPPORTUNITY AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Sicklerville, NJ (July 29, 2014) – Brett Ballard, a member of the B&M Motorsports team, lost an opportunity for a strong finish due to a mechanical failure suffered on the opening circuit of the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modified feature on Saturday, July 26 at Bridgeport Speedway. Using his 2009 Teo Pro Car with a Jay Larkin supplied engine, the Pennsville, NJ driver had a strong run in his qualifying event and finished in second place.  Following the heat race, the team discovered an oil leak and worked feverishly to complete the repairs just prior to the feature. At the beginning of the 25-lap contest, the suspension broke on the right side of Ballard’s car and he quickly drifted back from his fourth place starting spot in the feature. Ballard valiantly fought the ill handling car but was forced to retire from the race on the fourteenth circuit. Ballard is planning to have his Big Block Modified repaired in time for the next event at Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, August 2 and will look to improve upon his nineteenth place finish. The John Latwinas Farmers Insurance Agency of Sicklerville, NJ, Larkin Auto Service, CB Productions, CTS Lawn Care, and Delran Auto Body are Ballard’s current marketing partners.

Brad Roberts, another member of B&M Motorsports along with Ballard and Matt Budd, made his debut in the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modified division. With a 358 Small Block engine in his Teo Pro car, Roberts just missed out on qualifying for the feature event. In the consolation contest, the top six finishing cars gained an entry to the 25-lap race and Roberts completed the race in seventh. Array of Monograms, Ronnie’s Auto Repair, Roberts Motors, and Nucar Wholesale Parts are his current marketing partners.

Budd, who did not compete at Bridgeport Speedway this past weekend, had his 4M Teo Pro Crate/Sportsman car on display Saturday at the Car Show for a Cure in Sewell, NJ.  Budd’s next event will be the Modified Mayhem race on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile slated for Friday, August 22. His marketing partners in 2014 include Racersguide.com, Vahlco Racing Wheels, and Rick Sweeten Images.

B&M Motorsports is a dirt racing team of three drivers, Brett Ballard, Matt Budd, and Brad Roberts. An assortment of marketing partnerships is available for the B&M Motorsports team in 2014 including the opportunity to spread a sponsorship across the entire team of three cars.
