Sicklerville, NJ (July 21, 2014) – Brett Ballard, a member of the B&M Motorsports team, competed in the Bill Hill Memorial for the 811 Dig Safely Crate/Sportsman at Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, July 19. After finishing second in the third qualifying race, Ballard drew the ninth starting spot for the extra distance 25-lap feature. By the second circuit, Ballard was in sixth place. As the event continued, the handling began to deteriorate in his 2014 Teo Pro Car but the talented driver from Pennsville was able to complete the event in ninth place. Ballard is planning to compete on Saturday, July 26 at Bridgeport Speedway in the Spirit Dodge Big Block Modified class. The John Latwinas Farmers Insurance Agency of Sicklerville, NJ, Larkin Auto Service, CB Productions, CTS Lawn Care, and Delran Auto Body are Ballard’s current marketing partners.
Matt Budd, one of Ballard’s teammates, was on hand as well for the special event honoring the late Bill Hill. Budd finished in third place behind Ballard in the last of three qualifying races and drew the twelfth place starting spot. During a caution period on the sixth lap, Budd noticed some sparks coming from his left front tire and immediately entered the pit area. Unfortunately, the crew noticed an issue with the left front wheel bearing and Budd was forced to retire from the event. The next race on his calendar will be the Modified Mayhem event on Friday, August 22 on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile track. Budd’s marketing partners in 2014 include Racersguide.com, Vahlco Racing Wheels, and Rick Sweeten Images.

NARDELLI MAKES HIS FIRST 600CC MICRO-SPRINT START OF 2014
Sicklerville, NJ (July 21, 2014) – On Friday, July 18, Lee Nardelli officially returned to the Micro-Sprint ranks and made his first start of the year in his 600cc Micro-Sprint at Bridgeport Speedway. The night of action started out on a very good note as the Bridgeton, NJ driver won his heat race. “The car was really strong,” commented Nardelli. In the 20-lap feature, Nardelli started in third place. On the opening circuit, he was unfortunately collected in an accident. Coming from the rear after the incident, Nardelli was moving back through the field but dropped out of the contest on the ninth lap. “My shifter was not operating properly and it was making it difficult to stay in the correct gear,” explained Nardelli about his departure from the feature. Overall, he is confident in his new 600cc Micro-Sprint ride. “I will certainly be a contender from week to week,” said an optimistic Nardelli. He will be back in action on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile track on Friday, July 25.
Currently, Weber’s Automotive of Bridgeton, NJ and Scentsy are Nardelli’s marketing partners. For the remainder of the 2014 racing season, several additional partnership packages are available for Nardelli Racing.
