PERSA AUTO REPAIR SIGNS ON FOR 7TH ANNUAL IRCO DIRT TRACK HEROES EVENT AT PHILLIPSBURG MALL MARCH 2 – MARCH 8
The Phillipsburg Mall will again host the 7th Annual IRCO Dirt Track Heroes event with opening day set for Sunday, March 2nd. The show encompasses the majority of the local short track scene and will continue through Saturday night, March 8th. The Phillipsburg Mall, located on Route 22 East in Phillipsburg, NJ, has proven to be a popular setting for this special event and will offer a multitude of race cars, racing memorabilia, collectibles and photos on display throughout the course of the show. The show continues to be free of charge to the mall traffic and the 2014 edition of the show continues to be the trend setter of the many shows that are scheduled during the year. With an exciting and diverse schedule of events to whet the appetite of any true race fan, large crowds are expected to fill the wide walkways of the Phillipsburg Mall.

As the Phillipsburg, New Jersey based IRCO Community Federal Credit Union raises their banner for the upcoming show in doing so they have also added a local service twist to the show as they have partnered with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center to provide an excellent opportunity for the local community to become involved and participate in a local blood drive at the Phillipsburg Mall on Saturday, March 8th, from 12 Noon until 3 PM. In announcing the partnership, IRCO Vice President Greg Collins stated, "We are pleased to announce the IRCO Dirt Track Heroes Show is partnering with the Miller-Keystone Blood Center to assist in their mission of saving lives by providing a continuous supply of blood products and services. Miller-Keystone will be conducting a blood drive at the Phillipsburg Mall in Saturday, March 8th, from 12 Noon until 3 PM and it is our hope the racing community becomes involved with this great service for our local area". Established in 1971, Miller-Keystone Blood Center is an independent, not for profit organization that serves as the only blood provider to 26 hospitals in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton Philadelphia and Schuylkill (PA), and Hunterdon and Warren (NJ) Counties. Only blood donated through Miller-Keystone is transfused at these facilities.
The longtime broadcasting team of Ed and Steve Pados from Gasoline Alley fame, veteran announcer Bobby Stull and former Lake Mocatek co-announcer Justin Beltrame will head up the announcing team for the week long show. IRCO Vice President Greg Collins, who also serves as the noted historian of the Harmony Speedway, is expected to have much of his memorabilia from the Harmony Speedway for the event and Beltrame will once again spearhead and show the vast collection of Lake Mocatek material he has collected over the years.

The IRCO Dirt Track Heroes Car Show will again offer a great keepsake event souvenir program book and shirt. The Phillipsburg Mall is open Sunday 11 AM to 6 PM and from Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM. The event offer race teams a great opportunity to promote their sponsors and announce their racing plans for the 2014 racing season.
