NOTES:

*There were 53 of the Pioneer Pole Building Wingless 600cc Micro-Sprints on hand for the first-ever PA 600 Speedweek show at Action Trackk USA. It was also the first time in the seven-year history of PA 600 Speedweek that a series race was contested without wings.

The SpeedSTR's had a 21-car field on Wednesday, while the All Star Slingshots pulled in 30 entries. That's a grand total of 104 racecars entered in the first event at the Action Track USA since June 19, as the speedway took its customary three-week break to accomodate the annual Folk Festival held on the fairgrounds property during the July Fourth week.

*The PA 600 Speedweek triumph was the first of Rutherford's career at the Kutztown Fairgrounds.

*Sunoco USAC Championship SpeedSTR point leader Kenny Brightbill padded his lead with the first SpeedSTR win of his illustrious career.

*Mark Sensenig became the season's first two-time winner in the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Slingshot division.
