BFP Specialty Back as Contingency Sponsor for BD Motorsports Media Events at Penn Can and Five Mile Point Speedways; $500 Credits Given Away at Each 2012 Event

BOYERTOWN, PA - Modified racers will enjoy contingency awards from BFP Specialty at BD Motorsports Media events in 2012.

The Bethel, Pa., speed shop owned and operated by Jason Bashore has signed on to support the Pioneer Pole Buildings-VP Racing Fuels '2012 Tour' events to be held at Penn Can Speedway (Susquehanna, Pa.) and Five Mile Point Speedway (Kirkwood, N.Y.).

Drivers finishing sixth through 10th at the $10,000-to-win Race of Champions 'Clash at the Can' at Penn Can June 12, fifth anniversary Short Track SuperNationals at Five Mile Point Oct. 6 and year-end 'King of the Can' at Penn Can Oct. 12 will be placed in a random drawing for a $500 credit toward a new dirt Modified body at BFP Specialty.

The drawing will be held at the conclusion of each feature event.

Additionally, a $500 credit toward a new body will be presented to a driver at the conclusion of the '2012 Tour' having attended all three events. A random drawing of the perfect attendance drivers is set to take place following the 'King of the Can' main event.

"We got a great response from our involvement last year," BFP proprietor Bashore said of his $2,000 sponsorship investment for the upcoming season. "The car counts and the crowds at those events speak for themselves. It's something we want to be a part of."

Brett Deyo of BD Motorsports Media said the BFP Specialty Bonus helps to reward the core drivers supporting the events.

"Jason's contributions go to the drivers who ran well enough to finish in the top 10 but didn't get the big money up front," Deyo said. "It helps to keep the smaller teams going."
