GRANDVIEW’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY CRUISE KEEPS GETTING BIGGER

BECHTELSVILLE, PA November 26, 2011 . . . NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Champion Jeff Strunk will be going along with more than 80 others when the Explorer of the Seas cruise ship departs Bayonne, NJ on November 24, 2012. They will all be part of the Reunion Cruise that celebrates the 50th anniversary season of stock car racing at Grandview Speedway. And the number of participants is expected to grow.
In addition the driver winning the 2012 NASCAR Whelen All American Series title at the Berks County clay oval will also be going along with a guest.
The nine day cruise will make stops in Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic, a private island off Haiti and return to the Cape Liberty Cruise Port (Bayonne, NJ) on December 3rd.
There are still reservations available and a payment plan can be arranged.
It is expected that this Reunion Cruise will be the final Champion’s trip offered by management of the Grandview Speedway. They have offered this prize to the modified champion for about 20 years. This is in addition to the more than $10,000 in point fund money and other championship perks.
All meals are included along with special reunion shirts, at least one private cocktail party and more.
Information on the cruise is available from Marilyn Saxton at 215.752.2392 or email Msaxton188@aol.com.
Grandview Speedway will kick off their 50th anniversary season on Saturday, March 31st with their annual free-to-the-public practice session and they will top off their anniversary season with the huge $50,000 to win BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified race set for Saturday, September 15th.
Opportunities for event sponsorship along with track magazine and billboard advertising are available by contacting Ernie Saxton at ESC, Inc. at 215.752.7797 or email Esaxton144@aol.com. A brochure outlining the marketing opportunities is available upon request.
