AMSOIL USAC EASTERN STORM

THE TIME HAS COME, AMSOIL USAC WINGLESS SPRINTS AT GRANDVIEW TUESDAY NIGHT
The EASTERN Storm has reached the state of Pennsylvania, and it's moving east.
Two tracks on the popular tour include the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA with an event on Tuesday night, May 31 followed by a visit to the New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, NJ on Thursday night, June 1. The nationally known stars of USAC are sure to provide their share of thrills at they always do.
USAC wingless sprints are about as exciting as dirt track racing can get! There is wheel-banging and wild slide jobs and that's just the norm when the USAC wingless sprint cars hit the race track. At facilities like Grandview Speedway and New Egypt, the track size and configuration just make the show that much better. Many race fans will tell you that watching the USAC wingless sprints time trial at Grandview is worth the price of admission itself. At New Egypt, the USAC stars thrilled the race fans last year as they backed their cars into the turn, being nearly sideways all the way through the corners.
Casey Shuman, Tempe, AZ, Chris Windom, Canton, IL, Bryan Clauson, Noblesville, IN, Keith Bloom Jr, Anderson, CA, Hunter Schuerenberg, Sikeston, MO, Levi Jones, Olney, IL, Damion Gardner, Concord, CA, and the "Modern Day Cowboy" Daron Clayton of Sikeston, MO are just some of the USAC stars heading east. At last count, as many as twenty-five drivers are looking to take part in the USAC Eastern Storm Series.
In the four previous USAC Eastern Storm events at Grandview, Levi Jones won the opener in 2007, the late Jesse Hockett won the next two events as Levi Jones returned to Grandview in 2010 to win the first annual Jesse Hockett Classic. Also on the program at Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, May 31 with the AMSOIL USAC Wingless Sprints will be the ARDC Wingless Midgets, making this show a "must see" open wheel double-header that will get underway at 7:30 PM. Back by popular demand, the USAC Eastern Storm will once again return to New Jersey, with a stop at the beautiful and fan friendly New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt, NJ on Thursday night, June 2. In 2010, it was USAC's first visit to the state of New Jersey in thirty-two years and the great show makes it well worth the wait. This unique shaped race track provided some of the most dramatic side-by-side racing of the series and at the end of the night, it was Levi Jones standing in victory lane. The Big Block Modifieds will share the program again in 2011. Duane Howard and his BPG Modified were the class of modified field in 2010 and they'll be back chasing the $3,000 to win first place prize on Thursday night, June 2nd. More information is available at: www.newegyptspeedway.net
A $6,000 payday will go to the winner of each feature and a very lucrative total payoff plus a point fund for the USAC Eastern Storm competitors will lure some of the top drivers in the business. They only come east one time a year so make plans to see these two events on Tuesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 2nd.
