BROTHER DENNIS

No relation to Dennis, but i have been wondering what he's been doing these day's? It's been a long time since i heard his name in racing circle's. Dennis had some really nice ride's through the years.

  1. Just stumbled upon your blog tonight as I was telling a friend about my dad's old racing days. Dennis Thomas (my dad) is doing just fine, but got out of the racing world years ago. When he and my mom got together, he made her a promise that he'd quit racing. Well he kept "promising" for another 15 years. About the time I was old enough to learn to drive, I think she got scared. Within another year or two he sold the car.

These days he still loves the sport, but only as a spectator. I know he and my sister, as well as my niece and nephew can be found at Grandview from time to time...

  2. My son summed it up. I always said when it wasn't fun I would quit that's just what I did. It was fun and exciting while it lasted. That is a great picture of the 1984 Grandview Champion's car.
