A MAN OF MANY TALENTS, DON MILLER IS COMING TO THE MOTORSPORTS 2011 RACE CAR AND TRADE SHOW
OAKS, PA December 20, 2010 . . . Don Miller has done just about everything that there is to do in auto racing. He has been a professional drag racer, racing official, hard parts distributor, mechanic and fabricator, and the top salesman of performance engines in America.
That all happened before he met Roger Penske. As a key executive with Penske he became one of the most instrumental figures in modified auto racing. He discovered Rusty Wallace. He co-founded Penske Racing South with Wallace and the Captain (Penske). He recaptured the Midwest’s short tracks for Goodyear because of his expertise in racing tires. He is credited with creating today’s motorsports marketing program and also the traveling souvenir trailer and show car. Miller was also instrumental in Ryan Newman’s career growth.
Miller with the capable assistance of journalist Jim Donnelly has created a book titled “Miller’s Time - A Lifetime At Speed” that gives the reader the complete story of his life and accomplishments.
Miller and Donnelly will be part of the Motorsports 2011 Presented by SEF Race Car and Trade Show taking place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, Friday, January 21st through Sunday, January 23rd.
