JUSTIN HOLLAND UPSETS FIELD AT DART MACHINERY SHORT TRACK SUPERNATIONALS

Justin Holland Upsets Field At Dart Machinery Short Track SuperNationals



Justin Holland of White Lake, N.Y., earned an upset victory in the Short Track SuperNationals presented by Dart Machinery at Five Mile Point Speedway. Holland took the lead on lap 32 from Kevin Bates and drove to victory, worth nearly $7,000. Billy Pauch Jr. made a late charge for second, followed by Bates, Brian Weaver and Danny Tyler. Stewart Friesen, Joey Grammes, Bobby Trapper, Kevin Hirthler and Doug Manmiller completed the top 10.



Seventy-two Modifieds filled the pits with a capacity crowd looking on.



Holland is a graduate of Five Mile Point's Sportsman division. He won his first Modified event in late September at I-88 Speedway in Afton, N.Y.



Stewart Friesen was the Trackside Products American Racer East Coast Modified Cup Champions Challenge winner, earning $1,300.



Mike Gular won the EZ Release Dash for Cash, worth $650.



Support division winners were Butch Greene (Trackside Products RoC Street Stocks), Kerry Hollenbeck (Four Cylinder) and Jeff Richardson (Vintage Modified).
