GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY QUICK RESULTS FOR JULY 15

JARED UMBENHAUER BECOMES 10THDIFFERENT 358 MODIFIED FEATURE WINNER OF THE SEASON AT GRANDVIEW ON SATURDAY NIGHT, CHUCK SCHUTZ WINS BRC LATE MODEL FEATURE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW, DOUG MANMILLER EARNS SECOND TP TRAILERS 358 MODIFIED FEATURE WIN OF THE SEASON, DYLAN SWINEHART TOPS SPORTSMAN FIELD IN NIGHT’S FINALE

BECHTELSVILLE, PA JULY 15, 2017 . . . Young Jared Umbenhauer was able to win for the first time this season on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway winning the 30-lap TP Trailers 358 Modified feature that had been rained out a few weeks back. The win made Umbenhauer the 10thdifferent Modified feature winner of the season. Last Saturday’s Firecracker 40 Late Model feature winner Chuck Schutz made it two in a row winning the 25-lap BRC Late Model feature, part of A.D. Moyer Lumber Co. Night. Doug Manmiller was able to earn his second TP Trailers 358 Modified 30-lap feature win, the first driver to pull off that feat and Dylan Swinehart took the top honors in the 25-lap Sportsman feature.
                Kenny Gilmore had another strong showing grabbing second in the first Modified feature of the night. Doug Manmiller earned third followed by Kyle Weiss and point leader Jeff Strunk.
                Bryon Sipe stayed in the battle for Late Model title getting a second in the feature. Blaine Emery took third with Steve Todorow and Wayne Pfeil coming home fourth and fifth.
                In the regular Modified feature Brett Kressley came home second to Manmiller who had become first repeat winner in the Modifieds. Mike Gular finished third while Duane Howard was fourth while point leader Strunk crossed the finish line fifth.
                Young Brad Arnold came home second to Swinehart in the Sportsman feature with Joe Funk third. Mike Lisowski earned fourth and Ryan Beltz grabbed fifth.

                On the schedule for next Saturday, July 22nd, is Hatfield Quality Meats night featuring the NASCAR TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman along with the Blast from the Past Vintage Racers. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing getting the green at 7:30 p.m.
                And mark your schedule for Saturday, August 5th when the $10,000 to win Pioneer Pole Buildings Forrest Rogers Memorial takes place. The 50-lap race for TP Trailers 358 Modifieds will feature many of the area’s top dirt track Modified talents. Sportsman and BRC Late Models are also part of the night of racing action set to start at 7:30 p.m.
