BRAD ROBERTS ROCKETS TO HIS SECOND FEATURE WIN OF THE YEAR AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Sicklerville, NJ (August 23, 2016) – On Saturday, August 20 at Bridgeport Speedway, Brad Roberts rocketed to his second feature win of the year as he topped the field in the 20-lap Crate/Sportsman event. “After breaking the transmission on Tuesday during the Three for All race, this surely is the right way to end a week,” exclaimed the happy victor.

Roberts, a B&M Motorsports driver, started his night of racing on the right note. After starting fourth in his qualifying contest, he easily won the 8-lap event. Starting in sixth place for the feature, Roberts quickly was on the move as he was in the runner-up spot by the fourth circuit. On lap 6, Roberts slipped by Matt Stangle to take the lead. Once in front of the pack, the young wheelman from Delaware paced the field for the remaining distance to claim his third career win. Following the contest, Roberts was extremely grateful to those who have helped him out with his racing efforts. “There are so many people to thank. I have to thank my Pop-Pop (Modified driver Ron Roberts), Fay Lancaster, my crew chief Keith Dolan and his wife Paige. Also, Jim and Kevin Britt have backed my efforts this year. Our engine builder, Jimmy Weiss, just did a refresh on the engine and it was a rocket tonight. My dad, Brian Nipe, assisted me with putting the new transmission in the car this past week. Plus, I have to thank all of my marketing partners for their support,” said Roberts. His 2016 marketing sponsors include All County Garage Doors, Array of Monograms, CIL Underground, ERK Steering Repair, Robert’s Motors, and Ronnie’s Auto Repair. With just two point events left at Bridgeport Speedway, Roberts sits in fifth place in the Crate/Sportsman championship standings. After the regular season ends at Bridgeport Speedway, Roberts has plans to travel to other tracks for their special events. “Right now, we are looking at entering the Sportsman 38 race at Grandview Speedway on Friday, September 9,” remarked Roberts.
