BERNHEISEL RACE COMPONENTS ANNOUNCES LOCAL TRACK SUPPORT‏

BERNHEISEL RACE COMPONENTS ANNOUNCES LOCAL TRACK SUPPORT
Jonestown, PA – Jim Bernheisel, President of Bernheisel Race Components, announced a local track sponsorship program that will provide over $60,000 in awards, parts, and cash to the late models, limited late models and econo late models at five area speedways.
The Super Late Models at Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway, the Limited Late Models at Susquehanna Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway and Grandview Speedway and the Econo Late Models at Port Royal will be part of the Bernheisel Race Components Local Racer’s program including special Superior Products Nights as well as season long programs rewarding champions, hard chargers, rookies of the year and generally weekly racers.
“We have nothing against the touring series late model racing,” commented Jim Bernheisel, “but this is geared to help the local racers and encourage local drivers to support their local tracks. Local racing is the backbone of our sport and we are a local company supporting local racers with this program.”
For each of the six track divisions listed above there will be a BRC Superior Products Night. In each of these nights every competitor in attendance for the division included will be receiving something of real value. Bernheisel will be partnering with parts suppliers and manufacturers to provide real components and parts. The only requirements to the competitors is that on that night they display Bernheisel Race Components decals on the left and right sides of their cars to receive their portion of the $7000 parts to be handed out.
“Sure we build LazerX race cars but this is about all racers no matter the manufacturer of the cars they drive,” continued Bernheisel. “We have a complete warehouse of parts for all cars and we have our powder coating shop as well. These Superior Product Nights are for all drivers.”
In addition to the Superior Products Nights each track has a further specific sponsorship program. The Super Late Models at Port Royal and Selinsgrove Speedways will have their Hard Charger Award sponsored by BRC and the track champion will get $1,000 assuming he also carried a BRC decal on the sides of the car throughout the season. If that champion drove a Lazer to the championship, instead of the $1000 he will receive a new LazerX chassis worth $4000.
In the case of the Econo Late Models at Port Royal, the awards are the same except the champion, if carrying BRC stickers on the car, gets $500 from BRC but if he drives a Lazer, that amount is increased to $1000.
The Limited Late Models at Susquehanna and Williams Grove will have a Bernheisel Race Components Rookie of the Year Award and the track champion will also be treated as the Supers and get $1,000 if he displayed the BRC decal on the sides of the car throughout the season. And again, If that champion drove a Lazer to the title, that $1000 is replaced with a new LazerX chassis worth $4000.
At Grandview Speedway, Bernheisel will again sponsor the Hard Charger Award and will have weekly tire giveaways instead of a champion’s award. Each night a tire will be given away by the luck of the draw of all late models in attendance. A driver can only win one time and at the end of the year, any driver that has participated in all late model events during the season who has not won a tire during the year will be given a tire.
BRC is more than just a chassis and complete car builder. Bernheisel Race Components has an extensive warehouse of wholesale and retail parts plus tubing, aluminum, lexan, plastic, body kits and complete bodies. They have a large walk-in showroom but also do mail order and online order processing. They supply parts for all cars, not just BRC Lazers.
BRC also provides MIG welding services for aluminum and steel and has a shock repair center for all brands featuring a computerized Roehrig shock dyno, digital spring testing and an Accuforce spring smasher for dual stage and bump stops> They also have a sandblasting/powder coating building on site.
Bernheisel Race Components, Inc, and their ‘Ultimate Weapon’ LazerX Chassis have more wins per car built than any other chassis company. They are located at 1 Bordnersville Road just outside of Jonestown, PA at the intersection of PA State Route 72 and Bordnersville Road near the split of Interstate 78 and Interstate 81. They can be reached at (717) 865-3119. The shop opens Monday through Friday at 9AM Eastern Standard Time closing at 6PM on Mondays, 8PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5PM on Wednesdays and Fridays.
