FOLLOWING A TEST AND TUNE SESSION, DRIVERS ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND THE ROCK AND ROLL 33 AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY

Sicklerville, NJ (September 28, 2014) – After last Friday’s  test and tune session for Modified cars on Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile  oval, drivers are making plans to attend this Friday’s Rock and Roll 33. Scott Hulmes, Brad Roberts, and Ron Roberts have added this special event to their schedule after testing their cars last Friday. Other expected entrants include Brett Ballard, Billy Briggs, Lou Cicconi, Don Cogdill, Steve Davis, Jesse Dill, Joe Dill, Lauren Emmons, Sean Gunther, Dale Hawkins, Matt Hawkins, Pete Serra, Ryan Simmons, Doug Snyder and Ricky Wegner.

The Rock and Roll 33 will feature a sixteen car field, determined by qualifying events, in a 33-lap feature for Modifieds. For this race on Bridgeport Speedway’s inner track, any Modified style car from Crate Sportsman powered cars to Big Block Modifieds is eligible as an open motor rule is in effect. In addition, any 13 X 92 Modified track tire can be used for the race. A standard Dirt Car Modified body with or without Sail Panels can be used. No additional wings are permitted.

If the winner of the Rock and Roll 33 returns to Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday, October 4 and takes the checkered flag in  the Big Block Modified or Crate/Sportsman feature on the outer oval, an additional $500 cash bonus will be awarded.

Several marketing partnerships are still available for the Rock and Roll 33 including finishing position sponsorships.  Active Environmental Technologies, Creamy Acres Farm – Night of Terror, and SpeedZone have recently been added as new marketing partners. Vahlco Racing will be donating a $100 coupon towards a wheel order along with t-shirts and hats for the top five finishers.  Black Flagged Racing will be awarding trophies to the top three finishers of the race.  For additional information on Rock and Roll 33 marketing partnerships, interested parties should contact Mike Wisniewski from Wiz Motorsports Communications at mikewiz1962@yahoo.com for further details. In addition, Mario’s Fight Night will take place on this evening and donations will be accepted to help find a cure for Pediatric Cancer.

On Friday, October 3 at Bridgeport Speedway, the Modifieds will be joined by the Micro-Sprints (winged 270cc and wingless 600cc) and 4-Cylinder Stock Cars for a four-division program. All gates unlock at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps kick off  at 7:30 p.m. with racing getting underway at 8:00 p.m. Pit fees will be $25 with a Bridgeport Speedway Friday night license and $30 without a Bridgeport Speedway Friday night license. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults with kids 9 and under admitted for free.
